Eco-Drive™ has been developed in consultation with a selection of commercial road transport industry leaders. The driving efficiency lessons have been provided by Linfox, who achieved a remarkable 14% fuel saving across their fleet who received the eco-driving training. Linfox delivered the training face to face and sought partnership with Andromeda to develop an internet-based training solution to make Eco-Drive™ an industry-wide initiative.
Linfox and Wettenhalls are both Foundation Partners in developing Eco-Drive™. They will be involved in the development of content and participate in pilot testing the program. The program also has the support of the Australian Logistics Council, Woolworths and Australia Post.
